The application of fibre composite material in the leisure industry provides designers with diverse opportunities and an almost endless variety of forms, while the use of other materials is limited. GRP is extremely corrosion-resistant, durable and robust. The material ensures high strength despite its low dead weight. Fassmer’s experience in special sandblasting of parts for wind turbine components provides the know-how for complete, swift processing of aged composite components in the leisure industry. Top layers are gently removed in our own sandblasting plants, and damages are identified and repaired accordingly.
Heavily used fairground rides or fun slides in swimming pool landscapes are either dismantled and transported to Fassmer for repair or repaired professionally on-site to ensure fast and safe use again. Individual components for an existing fairground ride are often reproduced and installed. The parts can be painted and provided with airbrush or individual labels in our workshops.
